Xi Jinping pointed out that over the past 60 years, China and France have been win-win partners. China has become France's largest trading partner outside the European Union, and the two countries' economies have formed a strong symbiotic relationship of 'you in me, I in you'. China is an important representative of Eastern civilization, while France is an important representative of Western civilization. There are no geopolitical contradictions or fundamental conflicts of interest between China and France. They share a spirit of independence and mutual attraction with a brilliant culture, and have practical cooperation with broad interests. There is no reason not to develop bilateral relations well. Looking towards the future, China is willing to work with France to enrich the economic and trade connotation of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and France. China always regards France as a priority and reliable partner, committed to expanding the breadth and depth of bilateral economic and trade relations, opening up new fields, creating new models, and cultivating new growth points. Looking towards the future, we are willing to work together with the French side to promote mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Europe. China and Europe are the two major forces driving multipolarity, the two major markets supporting globalization, and the two major civilizations advocating diversity. Both sides must adhere to the correct positioning of the comprehensive strategic partnership, continuously enhance political mutual trust, and jointly oppose the politicization, ideologization, and pan securitization of economic and trade issues. Looking towards the future, we are willing to join hands with France to tackle global challenges. To address global uncertainty with the stability of Sino French relations, strengthen coordination at the United Nations, practice true multilateralism, promote equal and orderly world multipolarity, and inclusive economic globalization.
Xi Jinping emphasized that currently, China is promoting deep level reforms and high-quality development through high-level opening up, accelerating the development of new quality productive forces. We are planning and implementing major measures to further comprehensively deepen reform, steadily expand institutional opening up, further expand market access, and reduce the negative list of foreign investment access. This will provide broader market space for countries around the world, including France, and bring more opportunities for cooperation and win-win outcomes. We welcome French enterprises to actively participate in the process of Chinese path to modernization and share the opportunities of China's development. In just over two months, France will welcome the grand Paris Olympics. The Olympic Games are a symbol of unity and friendship, and a crystallization of mutual learning among civilizations.
